Cheesecake Strawberry Bread |
Ingredients :
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups Bisquick
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup diced strawberries
- 1/2 cup almonds, slivered or sliced
Frosting :
- 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon milk
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup strawberries, diced
Instructions :
- With a mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Beat in the sugar. Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
- Add the Bisquick and milk, alternating a little at a time, mixing after each addition until all of both are incorporated.
- Mix in the oil and almond extract.
- Stir in the strawberries and almonds. Pour mixture into a loaf pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven 50 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool while preparing the frosting.
Frosting :
